BILLET CASTING

 The correlation between production conditions and structural properties of the billets of great influence on the extrusion process.                     

  Our billet casting line is a continuous horizontal casting system for producing billets and logs of 6063 alloy with various dimensions. This system is equipped with a grain refiner, gas injection coupled with filtration in the same process unit.

  The produced billets are finally treated in a strictly controlled homogenization furnace to obtain a well-distributed microstructure.

  The quality control program covering all aspects of billet production is supported by a spectrolab to ensure billet consistency. The annual capacity of our billet casting line is estimated at 7000MT.
